​What is Calei-Kalei?

​

Calei-Kalei is a fun learning space. A group of teachers with extensive experience in second-language instruction, general and special education, visual arts and music has come together to create and share a variety of educational and entertaining content for children (ages 4-8) and their educators. ​​​​​At Calei-Kalei language learners can:

• access educational materials that support second-language learning, encourage reading and facilitate language practice

• enrich their vocabulary through innovative, engaging, varied and meaningful stories, songs, and learning activities

• become interested in, and enjoy, speaking, reading and writing in a new language​

• develop communication and expression skills

• appreciate languages ​​and cultures other than their own
